Mico to Host Exciting On-Campus Orientation and Services Fair

The Mico University College will welcome its new undergraduate students and sponsors to a face-to-face Orientation Session on campus this Friday. The event will run from 8:00 a.m. at the Enos Nuttall Lecture Theatre.
The day will also feature a special services fair with a wide range of resources.

Mico Welcomes New Undergraduates at 2025 Orientation

The Mico University College officially welcomed its newest cohort of undergraduates during the first day of orientation, hosted virtually on Monday evening.

The session opened with greetings and reflection led by Dr. Kay Dunkley, Team Lead for the Office of Quality Assurance, and Rev. Bosworth Mullings, University Chaplain. The highlight of the evening was a heartfelt welcome by President Dr. Asburn Pinnock.

The Mico University College has announced a change to the start of classes for Semester 1 of the 2025–2026 academic year. Dr. Asburn Pinnock, confirmed that the adjustment was made in recognition of the upcoming 2025 General Election. All classes are now scheduled to begin on September 8, 2025.

The Mico University College announces that its President’s Emancipation Month Address will be broadcast across the media today, August 1, as Jamaica pauses to reflect on a significant milestone in our national story. The address, “Freedom Through Education – Join the Legacy,” will air on TVJ at 8:15 a.m..
