The Mico University College proudly congratulates Dr. Denise Minott, a distinguished educator and curriculum specialist, on receiving her recent Doctoral award.

Dr. Minott’s remarkable career spans more than thirty years, with impactful contributions to education and curriculum development across the Caribbean. Her academic journey includes degrees from Nova Southeastern University, McGill University, and the University of the West Indies (UWI), where her research focused on pre-service teacher preparation and values education.

She has served in regional curriculum development, working with UWI-CHART, PANCAP, and the International Organization for Migration, while also lecturing at several tertiary institutions and leading professional development initiatives in the financial sector. At The Mico University College, she brings her wealth of expertise to the Quality Assurance Office, helping to strengthen standards and drive innovation.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Minott has contributed to scholarly work through peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, further cementing her influence in education and sustainable development.
