The Mico University College community is celebrating a proud and historic moment as Mrs. Maureen Mullings Nelson has been awarded the Prime Minister’s Medal of Appreciation for Service to Education.
This prestigious national honour recognizes Mrs. Nelson’s unwavering commitment, exemplary service, and outstanding contributions to education in Jamaica. Her dedication to shaping young minds and pursuit of excellence have enriched the lives of countless students, while bringing great distinction to The Mico University College.
In extending congratulations, President Dr. Asburn Pinnock shared the pride of the Board of Directors, staff, and students in celebrating this achievement:
